The World’s 90 Most Recognizable Folk, Gospel, Blues, Patriotic, Children’s and Holiday Songs Tabbed and Played in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 12th Positions…with a 73 minute Recording Song Teacher that plays each song for your C harp.

From “Shenadoah” to “Silent Night”, “Amazing Grace to “Wabash Cannon Ball,” almost every harmonica song becomes bluesy when you play it in 2nd position in cross harp because Cross Harp accents the more expressive draw notes of the diatonic harmonica.

The draw notes are the power notes, the notes you can bend. They are also more difficult.

Challenge yourself to get good at bending with this book and recording.

Develop your ear by learning songs you already know.

Bluesify Your Melody book and recording package is both training manual for harp players, and a resource of songs and ideas that will last a lifetime. Beginner’s will enjoy the easy 1st position versions of the songs.

Blues players will find it’s a reality check, and it will stretch their abilities working out of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 12th position tab. Some songs like “Amazing Grace” are presented in 1st position, second position, and 12th position. Who would have guessed 12th position is easiest? Like minor key music “In the Pines” is presented in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th positions,  “House of the Rising Sun” is presented in 2nd and 3rd positions. This book is an encyclopedia.

Thing is: this notation going to ask you to bend, and it is going to challenge you to get good at bending. You may want to add my “Tone & Bending Workshop” recording program to the package, and I have added it at a good discount in the options on this page.

Learning the  songs presented in this book will make you a master of cross harp melody and position playing. It will make you a better jammer because you’ll have a better ear.
